PhD in Engineering.

Qualifications:

o BSc. in Electrical Engineering.

o Master’s degree in electrical engineering

o 20+ years of experience in electrical engineering system studies (in Utilities and consultancy)

o 15+ years of experience with PSS/E, Dig Silent, PSCAD.

o Leadership Experience: 5+ years


Objective:

Provide advanced technical analysis and power system modeling to support transmission

network planning activities, ensuring the grid’s reliability, security, and optimal expansion

aligned with future load growth and operational requirements.


Major duties:

􀁸 Conduct transmission system modeling and steady-state load flow and Dynamic / Transient analysis and using software (such as PSS/E & Dig Silent) to evaluate existing and planned network performance.

􀁸 Perform transient analysis using tools like PSCAD.

􀁸 Conduct generation interconnection impact studies.

􀁸 Conduct comprehensive load forecasting and scenario analyses to anticipate future network requirements.
