Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve and exceed sales targets across assigned traditional trade channels.
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies tailored to Kuwait’s traditional trade environment, ensuring strong in-store execution and coverage.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including baqala owners, cooperative societies, and wholesalers, to drive sales and visibility.
  • Conduct regular market visits to ensure proper stock levels, product availability, shelf visibility, and compliance with agreed merchandising standards.
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and promotions within the market, providing timely feedback and actionable insights.
  • Analyze sales performance, route efficiency, and KPIs, identifying gaps and implementing corrective action plans.
  • Coordinate closely with the marketing team to implement trade promotions, in-store activations, and visibility campaigns.
  • Ensure effective distribution and coverage of all SKUs across assigned outlets, minimizing out-of-stock situations.
  • Collaborate with the supply chain team to manage inventory levels, forecast demand, and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Prepare and present periodic sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to management.
  • Coach and develop the sales team through regular field training, performance reviews, and structured development plans.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, trade agreements, and local market regulations in Kuwait.
