The Key Account Executive (Lays Division) plays a vital role in driving sales and strengthening relationships with key retail and distribution partners for the snacks portfolio (including Lays and related products). This role focuses on maximizing product visibility, availability, and profitability across key accounts while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in FMCG sales, particularly in snacks or fast-moving consumer goods, with the ability to manage large accounts and execute strategic growth plans.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts (modern trade, supermarkets, hypermarkets, and major distributors) to ensure consistent business growth.
  • Ensure optimal product listing, shelf visibility, merchandising standards, and promotional execution for Lays products across all key outlets.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within existing accounts to expand product reach and increase sales volume.
  • Plan and execute sales strategies, promotions, and in-store activations in coordination with marketing and trade marketing teams.
  • Monitor stock levels, product rotation (FIFO), and minimize out-of-stock situations across accounts.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities within the snacks category to identify risks and growth opportunities.
  • Negotiate trade agreements, pricing, and promotional plans with key customers to maximize profitability and market share.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and availability of products.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, account status, and market insights for management review.
  • Conduct regular store visits and client meetings to ensure execution excellence and resolve issues promptly.
  • Represent the company and Lays brand in trade events, exhibitions, and promotional activities.
  • Support and mentor merchandisers and junior sales staff to maintain high execution standards.
