Key Account Manager – Wholesale Market (Fruits & Vegetables)

Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Key Account Manager to drive sales of fresh fruits and vegetables within the Al Aweer wholesale market. The ideal candidate will have strong industry knowledge, a wide client network among wholesalers, and the ability to manage high-volume transactions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relationships with wholesalers, distributors, traders, and foodservice buyers in key wholesale markets (e.g., Al Aweer Market).
- Identify new business opportunities and onboard new wholesale customers.
- Execute sales strategies to achieve volume, revenue, and margin goals.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and supply conditions with clients.
- Monitor and manage daily orders, deliveries, and payment collections.
- Coordinate closely with procurement and logistics teams to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
- Track market prices and competitor activity; report insights and trends to management.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience in wholesale fresh produce sector.
- Existing client network within the wholesale market is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of fruit and vegetable quality, seasonality, and pricing.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage high transaction volumes.
- Fluent in English; Hindi/Urdu or Arabic is a strong advantage.
- Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree is a plus, but practical market experience is more critical.
