Job description

Job Title:

 Key Account Manager – Fresh Produce (Fruits & Vegetables)

Industry: Fresh Produce / FMCG / Retail

Employment Type: Full-Time


Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager to lead and grow our fresh produce business across major retail chains in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in B2B sales, excellent knowledge of the fruits and vegetables sector, and an established network within supermarket and hypermarket groups.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow relationships with key retail accounts (e.g., Carrefour, Lulu, Spinneys, Union Coop).
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and promotional plans with buyers and category managers.
  • Analyze sales data, forecast demand, and ensure efficient product supply and availability.
  • Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and product quality.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and KPIs.
  • Prepare sales reports and present regular performance updates to senior management.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales or key account management, preferably in fresh produce or FMCG.
  • Proven track record of managing large retail accounts.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients simultaneously.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
