Job Summary:

 

The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all food products meet established safety, quality and regulatory standards. This role involves inspecting raw materials, production processes and finished goods, documenting findings and collaborating with production teams to maintain high quality standards and regulatory compliance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • To Inspect raw materials, production processes and finished goods for quality, safety and regulatory compliance.
  • To monitor production processes to ensure adherence to food safety standards (SFDA, ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP, etc.)
  • To perform routine quality checks, such as temperature testing, packaging inspection, labeling verification and contamination checks.
  • To verify that facilities, equipment and sanitation practices meet regulatory requirements.
  • To document inspection results and maintain accurate records for auditing and reporting.
  • To identify and report non-conformities and assist in corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • To assist with internal and external audits, ensuring readiness and compliance.
  • To stay updated on SFDA standards, health regulations and food safety laws.
