Job description

The Wholesale Specialist plays a pivotal role in the perfume and cosmetics industry, focusing on building and maintaining relationships with retailers and distributors. This position is essential for driving sales and ensuring that products reach the market effectively. The Wholesale Specialist will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and managing existing accounts to maximize revenue. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the market trends and customer preferences, allowing them to tailor strategies that align with the company's goals.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement wholesale strategies to increase market penetration.
  2. Open and grow partnerships with key retailers (e.g. Sephora, Faces, Boots, Life, Life, Binsina, Aster,other local beauty chains).
  3. Identify and engage potential retail partners and distributors.
  4. Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients.
  5. Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies as needed.
  6. Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
  7. Provide exceptional customer service and support to existing accounts.
  8. Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials and campaigns.
  9. Prepare and present sales reports to management.
  10. Attend trade shows and industry events to network and promote products.
  11. Train and support new wholesale partners on product knowledge and sales techniques.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Proven experience in wholesale or sales within the perfume and cosmetics industry.
  2. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  3. Ability to analyze market trends and consumer behavior.
  4. Excellent relationship-building skills.
  5. Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  7. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  8. Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  9. Strong organizational and time management skills.
  10. Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and events.
