Directs Marine activities for the preparation and towage/positioning of Drilling and Maintenance Jack-up Rigs/Barges within ADNOC concession areas.
Manage the marine spread for Rig / Barge movement for Offshore, vessels readiness, logistics arrangements and ensure the rig movement are meeting the operational requirement on time at optimum cost, quality and safe working conditions.
• Monitors and controls the contracted Anchor Handling Tug Supply vessels during engaged period in Rig/Barge move.
• Communicates with OMS regarding Rig move site conditions, mooring patterns and discusses any additional requirements.
• Executes the movements of contracted Jack-up Rigs and Barges within ADNOC Group of Companies Marine Operations areas and preparation of necessary reports on such field moorings concerning contracted jack-up rigs movements.
• Liaises with manager rig /barge move operation, regarding Rig movement, site conditions, and advices of any additional requirements.
• Carries out marine inspection of jack-up units including Safety Standards, mooring and jacking facilities and prepares necessary reports.
• Conducts Marine Inspections of contracted vessels and ensures compliance with offshore acceptance standards. Report’s areas of non-compliance and follows up for closure.
• Directs contracted mooring services, vessels during rig move operation in the field. Performs other related duties as assigned by MOTL such as: directing boats carrying dangerous/inflammable propane cargoes to Super-complexes.
• Carries out inspection of Anchor Handling Tug Supply Vessels which are dedicated for Rig move, follow-up actions to ensure compliance with offshore requirements, coordinates with Shipping Department/MOS regarding marine spread needs for the move.
• Masters Mariner Certificate of competency STCW 95 11/2 (Academic Standard of B.Sc. in MarineServices).
• Bridge Watch Officer Certificate of Competency STCW 95 11/1 (Academic Standard of B/Sc. In Marine Science) & have completed an ADNOC OFFSHORE approved training scheme targeted towards the post.
• 8 years’ experience in Marine Offshore Operations including Tug Master’s experience preferable with knowledge of ADNOC OFFSHORE’s operational areas. Offshore towage pilotage and positioning of Jack-up Rigs.
• At least 4 years’ experience in offshore vessel operations in senior capacity. Preferable experienced in Mooring Vessel.
