We are seeking a highly detail oriented Paralegal to support contract review and compliance functions within a construction focused environment.
This is not a general administrative role.
The position involves working with complex contracts, extracting key obligations, and supporting structured contract administration processes.
It is well suited to someone who is:

Key Responsibilities
Contract Review and Analysis
· Review contracts, subcontracts, and special conditions
· Identify and extract key contractual provisions, including:
o Notice requirements and time bars
o Extensions of time (EOT)
o Variations
o Payment and certification processes
o Security, retention, and release conditions
Contract Administration Support
· Assist with compliance workflows and contract checklists
· Track key dates, deadlines, and contractual triggers
· Support preparation of structured outputs based on contract terms
Data Accuracy and Quality Control
· Accurately input and validate contract data
· Perform quality checks to ensure consistency and reliability
· Review outputs for completeness and accuracy
Risk Identification
· Identify and flag ambiguities, inconsistencies, or gaps in contracts
· Escalate issues where interpretation is unclear
Essential
· Strong attention to detail (critical requirement)
· Experience reviewing contracts or legal documents
· Ability to interpret and summarise complex clauses clearly
· Strong written English and structured communication
· Ability to follow defined processes and checklists consistently
Preferred
· Experience in construction, infrastructure, or engineering projects
· Familiarity with:
o Variations
o Extensions of time
o Payment claims
· Legal or paralegal background
· Experience working with compliance or contract management systems
· Exposure to Australian or UK legal / contractual frameworks
