Job description

Role Responsibilities:

  • Promote SETCON – variable speed drive technology in the region
  • Identify, approach, and build strong relationships with EPCs, plant operators, OEMs, and industrial end-users
  • Develop and execute a regional sales strategy aligned with SET’s global sustainability and growth objectives
  • Establishing a physical sales office in the region
  • Conduct technical presentations, ROI calculations, and retrofit assessments for customers
  • Support clients throughout the full sales cycle – from technical proposal to commissioning
  • Collaborate with the SET engineering and project management teams to customize solutions based on local requirements
  • Attend regional trade shows, conferences, and client workshops

Skills

Candidate Profile:


  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Permanent Resident in the Middle East Region
  • 10+ years of technical sales experience in industrial drives
  • Strong network within Oil&Gas, desalination, and energy industries in the Middle East
  • General understanding of variable speed drive applications, energy efficiency, and mechanical retrofit projects
  • Fluent in English and Arabic. German is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel frequently across the region (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, etc.)
  • A structured, solution-oriented, and independent approach to work
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate challenging technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
