Job description

  • Role: Business Performance Officer/ Associate
  • Type: Contract
  • Client Industry: Aviation
  • Contract Duration: 6 months

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performance management: structured process of setting targets, monitoring KPIs, and evaluating performance to ensure alignment with strategic priorities
  • Value creation: identification and delivery of initiatives that enhance financial and operational performance, generating sustainable improvements in profitability, efficiency, and growth
  • Business case: evaluation of investments, assessing financial impact, risks, and benefits to support informed decision-making and prioritization
  • Define, monitor, and report on performance KPIs, partnering with business areas to identify gaps, risks, and corrective actions
  • Lead the development, governance, and monthly reporting of value creation frameworks, identifying opportunities to enhance and track value across business areas Support line manager in evaluating investments and its impact on the business , proposing and considering alternative options , proactively highlighting the risks and opportunities in proposals to assist management in making the decision
  • Continue to enhance workstream processes in collaboration with relevant stakeholders


Skills

Requirements:

  • Must have at least a bachelor’s degree in business/finance or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in management reporting or analytical accounting functions (preference for airline experience)
  • Proven experience in financial analysis and reporting with a strong ability to automate processes and manage large datasets
  • Strong knowledge of financial modelling, advanced Excel, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Anaplan etc.) for data analysis and automation
  • Ability to summarize and present complex financial data to senior management
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and apply governance, risk and compliance protocols
  • Advanced communication skills --- English (verbal and writing); fluency in Arabic is an advantage
