The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the financial health of our organisation by managing day-to-day accounting tasks, preparing financial reports, and ensuring the accuracy of our financial records. Responsibilities
* Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable and receivable.
* Prepare, process, and record invoices, expense claims, and payments in a timely manner.
* Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurately accounted for.
* Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
* Support the senior finance team with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and company policies.
* Maintain organised and accurate financial files and records.
* Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders on financial matters.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as an Accounts Executive or in a similar accounting role.
* A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is required.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and best practices.
* Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks) and the MS Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel.
* Exceptional numerical accuracy and a high level of attention to detail.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
