Accounts Manager

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with IFRS & IAS. The ideal candidate will manage daily operations (AP, AR, tax, payroll), mentor junior staff, coordinate with banks and auditors, and drive process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations including AP, AR, tax filings, and payroll
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements under IFRS & IAS
• Review journal entries and account reconciliations prepared by staff
• Coordinate month-end and year-end closing processes
• Work closely with Treasurer on cash management and payment processes
• Implement and enforce accounting policies and internal controls
• Mentor and develop junior accounting staff; monitor team targets
• Coordinate with banks for facilities, POS rates, and best services
• Liaise with auditors for efficient and timely audits
• Maintain and track fixed assets per company policies
• Lead, direct, and motivate the accounting team
• Maintain discretion with sensitive/confidential data
