Job Summary
The SAP Implementation & Process Manager is responsible for leading the successful implementation, optimization, and governance of SAP systems across the organization. This role ensures that SAP is implemented as a business transformation initiative, not merely an IT project.
The position focuses on defining standardized business processes, aligning departments with SAP best practices, training teams, and ensuring consistent use of the system across the organization. The role will act as the bridge between business units, management, and IT teams to ensure SAP delivers operational efficiency, transparency, and reliable reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end SAP implementation and optimization for Finance (FI/CO) and Material Management (MM) modules as well as Plant Maintenance (PM), Human Resource (HR), Sales & Distribution (SD) and Customer Service (CS) modules.
- Define and document standardized business processes aligned with SAP best practices.
- Ensure all departments follow consistent processes and workflows within SAP.
- Act as the business process owner for SAP-related procedures across the company.
- Coordinate between finance, HR, operations, and IT teams to ensure SAP supports business needs.
- Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and misalignment in current SAP usage and implement corrective improvements.
- Develop and enforce SAP governance policies and data standards.
- Lead change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of SAP across the organization.
- Design and oversee user training programs to ensure employees understand and correctly use SAP processes.
- Monitor SAP usage and compliance to ensure departments follow standardized procedures.
- Work with SAP consultants or vendors to configure, enhance, or troubleshoot system functionality.
- Ensure SAP supports accurate financial reporting, HR processes, and management decision-making.
- Manage SAP documentation including process flows, user manuals, and operational guidelines.
- Provide ongoing recommendations to management on system improvements and business process optimization.
