Job Summary :

The Rig Company Man represents the operating company on the drilling site and is responsible for supervising all drilling and related operations. This role ensures that activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and regulatory standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all drilling, completion, and workover activities on site
  • Ensure operations are conducted in accordance with approved drilling programs
  • Monitor daily drilling performance, costs, and progress
  • Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards
  • Act as the primary liaison between the operator, drilling contractor, and service companies
  • Approve operational procedures and authorize changes when required
