Purpose of the Job (Overall Accountability)
- Manage overall projects within one site and team related activities, developing work plans, managing deadlines and coordination of team and sub-teams, Estimating project skill requirements, defining and agreeing on deliverables and milestones and scope, communicating status and vision to client management.
-Coordinates and manage the different BU (business units ) of one project, is the final decision maker on common interests such as HR execution .
- Combines the interests of the different sub projects within one site in order to have one general policy and strategy.
- Is the main focal point towards the higher management of the clients.
Principal Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
-Managing the different BU of the site to assure a fluent functioning of the different sub projects
- Supply chain project ensuring key processes and operations "warehousing, bagging, drumming, internal structures loading and shipping" functions are done as per customers requirements & all MDR standards for operations and SSHEQ.
- Developing overall work plans, managing deadlines and coordination of team and sub-teams.
- Ensure all available equipment and work force is utilized in a more productive and professional manner.
- Analyzing daily activities, customer interactions, meetings regarding smooth operations and take the proper actions.
- Responsible for data management, analyzing performance, identifying problems and developing recommendations that support logistics develop and maintain cost models
- Ensure full over view updated status of all customer orders are on track as per ETA.
- Coordinate the social welfare of all different sub projects and is the chairman of the BU managers meetings.
- Setup the budget and verifies the financial and technical aspects of it
- Maintain and develop sound relations with the customers, marketers, shipping lines, customs agent's brokers to ensure full client satisfaction.
- Ensure fleet equipment is sound and operational and supervise the distribution of these.
- Conduct and manage employee's performance evaluation and observe their daily performance to ensure they are giving their best performance.
- Handle all high level communications, verbal, written, customer complaints, incidents and root cause analysis.
- Manage implementation of SSHEQ standards as per MDR & Customer manuals to ensure full compliance with sole objective ……… Zero loss time injury.
- Assure that all project team members understand the scope of the project, their role in it, and the desired outcomes.
- Promote and motivate the development of the operations team performance through training needs assessment and proposing the suitable training programs.
- Interface and Liaise with line management to ensure availability of staff and to ensure that key operations are effectively resourced and managed.
- Take ownership for cost and resource utilization relating to major projects, evaluating return on expenditure.
- Maintain regular communication with customers and management regarding progress and achievement of project deliverables.
- Ensure company policies are communicated, applied and enforced (i.e. accounting, operational, SSHEQ, regulatory and administrative).
- Identifies training needs of and participates in providing training to subordinates.
- Set up and verify on high level customer and company KPI's and SLA's on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis.
- Encourage and motivate the team to participate in SPARK program and receive the ideas to enhance the operations.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
- Demonstrates safety leadership by always performing work tasks as a role model for Behavioral Based Safety and demonstrates practical knowledge of the Instructions procedures of Operation.
