Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced MEP Procurement Manager to lead and manage all procurement activities related to Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) packages. The role involves strategic sourcing, supplier management, cost optimization, and ensuring timely delivery of materials in line with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for MEP materials and subcontract packages
  • Manage the full procurement cycle: sourcing, tendering, evaluation, negotiation, and award
  • Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers and subcontractors
  • Review technical specifications, BOQs, and drawings to ensure accurate procurement
  • Coordinate with engineering, commercial, and project teams to align procurement plans with project timelines
  • Lead price negotiations to achieve cost savings and best value
  • Monitor market trends and pricing to support budgeting and cost control
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and project requirements
  • Manage procurement risks and resolve any supply chain issues
  • Prepare procurement reports and track KPIs (cost, delivery, supplier performance)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (preferred) or relevant field
  • 8–12 years of experience in procurement within construction companies, with strong MEP exposure
  • Proven experience in handling large-scale construction or infrastructure projects
  • Strong knowledge of MEP systems, materials, and suppliers
  • Excellent negotiation and contract management skills
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle is a plus)
  • Strong analytical and communication skills


Preferred:

  • Previous experience in KSA or GCC market is a plus
  • Strong network of MEP suppliers and subcontractors
