The Planner is responsible for developing, monitoring, and maintaining the overall project schedule and planning framework for a major development project. This position ensures that all project activities, from design to construction, are effectively planned, tracked, and reported, enabling timely project delivery and informed decision-making.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, maintain, and update a comprehensive project plan and schedule, detailing all tasks, timelines, and critical path milestones.
  • Monitor project progress against the established schedule, identify deviations, and analyze potential impacts on completion.
  • Prepare and submit regular project status and progress reports based on data collected from all stakeholders.
  • Conduct workshops at key project phases (kick-off, interim, and periodic) to ensure alignment among stakeholders.
  • Implement and utilize tools such as Earned Value Analysis (EVA) and look-ahead schedules for accurate tracking of time, scope, and cost.
  • Work closely with the Project Director and team to develop recovery and mitigation strategies for delays.
  • Assist in managing the procurement plan and developing systems for handling schedule changes.
  • Coordinate with all disciplines to ensure integration into the master project schedule.
  • Support team members in identifying risks and proposing solutions to avoid scheduling delays.
