Optimization Engineer

The aim is to state the overall significance of the job from the organisation's perspective.

To conduct studies, analysis and evaluations of drilling engineering data collected while drilling, and recommend methods and techniques for optimizing drilling operations through data analysis, modeling, and simulation.

3 MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

This section describes the principal outputs required from the job.

• Policies, Processes and Procedures: Applies approved section policies, processes, and procedures and monitors adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.
• Day-to-day operations: Applies the day-to-day Tasks assigned form Supervisor to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures.
• Coordination With Contractors: Monitors and inspects contractors' activities to ensure compliance and reports any discrepancy between plan and actual work to the Supervisor.
• Optimization Strategy Development & Implementation:
• Develop optimization strategies based on data analysis and modeling results.
• Work with drilling and workover teams to implement optimization strategies.
• Continuously monitor and adjust strategies based on performance.
• Manage and coordinate D&WO software development projects.
• Coordinate the installation on real-time data services on company rigs.
• Maintain drilling central database and ensure drilling information integrate & availability.
• Work with engineering teams to analysis & evaluate the performance of different drilling departments, conduct NPT root cause analysis.
