We are looking for a dedicated Health & Safety Specialist to support the implementation of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) activities across operational sites. The role is responsible for ensuring compliance with safety standards, assisting in audits and inspections, and supporting the continuous improvement of HSE systems in line with operational and regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support HSE inspection planning activities during the CPS-1 phase and operational stages under the guidance of the Supervisor.
  • Ensure all health, safety, and environmental certifications and licenses are obtained on time to support railway operations.
  • Assist in the implementation and continuous improvement of safety and environmental management systems in line with the HHR Safety Management System.
  • Conduct audits and inspections of operations and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with organizational policies and safety standards.
  • Collect and provide data for safety performance reports and statistics against agreed KPIs.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HSE policies and procedures to improve quality processes and reduce environmental and safety risks.
  • Support awareness initiatives and communication on HSE matters across departments.
  • Monitor compliance with applicable legislation, regulations, industry standards, and internal HSE policies.
  • Report current and future HSE requirements to the Supervisor based on business needs and legislative updates.
  • Support the HSE team in ensuring deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Safety Manager.
