The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth and
expanding our business in the sectors of Engineering & Construction, As a
Business Development Manager, you will play a critical role in identifying
new business opportunities, expanding our market presence, building
strategic partnerships for this sector.
Essential Duties:
1. Market Analysis:
● Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities,
and competitive landscape within the construction sector
● Analyze customer needs and preferences to tailor business strategies
effectively
● Identify and pursue new business opportunities in construction sector,
keeping up to date with industry trends and market developments
2. Business Strategy Development:
● Develop and implement a comprehensive business development
strategy to achieve company growth targets
● Collaborate with senior management to align business development
objectives with overall company goals
3. Client Relationship Management:
● Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and
stakeholders in the industry, including clients, contractors, and industry
associations
● Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals,
ensuring customer satisfaction results
4. Proposal Development:
● Lead the preparation of proposals and presentations to secure new
projects and contracts
● Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and pitches to key clients
and stakeholders, effectively communicating the value proposition of
our capabilities and services
● Collaborate with technical teams to ensure proposals meet client
specifications and requirements

5. Networking and Industry Engagement:
● Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the
company and identify new business opportunities
● Engage with industry associations and networks to enhance the
company’s visibility and reputation
● Ensure pre-qualifications with customers are completed and
maintained
6. Performance Monitoring:
● Track and report on business development activities and performance
metrics
● Adjust strategies based on performance data and market changes
7. Team Collaboration:
● Work closely with Sraco Construction management, project
management teams marketing and finance teams to ensure seamless
execution of projects and alignment of business objectives
● Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction
Management or a related field. MBA preferred
● Five years’ experience as a Business Development Manager or in a
similar role within multi industry group companies
Additional Skills:
● Strong understanding of the Saudi construction market, regulations and
key players
● Demonstrated track record of successfully identifying and closing new
business opportunities, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
● Excellent networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to
