Presales Engineer – CCTV / ELV / ICT Solutions

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:

𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧

• Design and develop end-to-end CCTV, ELV, and ICT solutions based on project specifications and client requirements.
• Prepare system architecture designs including camera layout, network infrastructure, and system integration.
• Recommend appropriate technologies and equipment based on project needs.

𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

• Prepare technical proposals, system designs, compliance statements, and cost estimates.
• Develop Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and technical documentation required for project submissions.
• Ensure proposals meet client specifications, project scope, and industry standards.

𝐓𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 & 𝐑𝐅𝐐 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰

• Analyze tender documents, RFQs, and project specifications.
• Identify technical requirements and develop technically compliant solutions.
• Support bid preparation and assist in responding to technical clarifications.

𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞

• Ensure all proposed CCTV solutions comply with Qatar Ministry of Interior (MOI) CCTV regulations.
• Prepare documentation required for MOI CCTV approvals and submissions.

𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭

• Support the sales team in client meetings, technical presentations, and solution demonstrations.
• Provide technical explanations of proposed solutions and address client queries.
• Participate in project discussions and provide recommendations based on technical feasibility.

𝐒𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐲𝐬 & 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬

• Conduct site surveys and technical assessments to understand project requirements.
• Identify infrastructure requirements including camera placement, cabling routes, and network connectivity.

𝐕𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

• Coordinate with technology vendors, manufacturers, and suppliers to select suitable equipment and solutions.
• Stay updated on the latest security technologies and industry trends.

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 

𝐂𝐂𝐓𝐕 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬

• Experience designing CCTV systems compliant with Qatar MOI regulations
• Knowledge of IP cameras, video management systems (VMS), storage solutions, and surveillance architecture

𝐄𝐋𝐕 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬

Knowledge of multiple Extra Low Voltage systems, including:

• Access Control Systems
• Structured Cabling Systems
• Intercom Systems
• Gate Barrier Systems
• Public Address Systems

𝐈𝐂𝐓 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞

Basic understanding of:

• Network switching and routing
• LAN/WAN infrastructure
• Wireless networks and connectivity

𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬

• Ability to prepare BOQs and technical documentation
• Experience preparing system drawings and layouts using AutoCAD
• Familiarity with technical compliance documents and project specifications

𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 & 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, IT, or related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Presales Engineering for CCTV / ELV / ICT solutions
• Experience working on projects in Qatar is preferred
• Knowledge of MOI CCTV portal submissions and regulatory processes is an advantage
• Experience working with security system vendors and integrators
