The Assistant Section Supervisor supports the Section Supervisor in overseeing the daily operations of the cosmetics and fragrance section, ensuring excellent customer service, achieving sales targets, and maintaining high visual merchandising standards in line with brand guidelines. The role involves assisting in supervising day-to-day activities, supporting the team in maximizing sales and revenue, and delivering a premium shopping experience to customers. Additionally, the Assistant Section Supervisor guides and supports Beauty Advisors and Fragrance Consultants by enhancing their product knowledge and selling techniques, while also monitoring stock levels, coordinating replenishment, and ensuring effective stock management.
The position also requires handling customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional manner, and assisting with staff scheduling to ensure adequate floor coverage. Furthermore, the role includes supporting the training and onboarding of new team members, tracking sales performance, and providing regular feedback and reports to the Section Supervisor. Ensuring compliance with company policies and hygiene standards is also a key part of the role.
Strong sales and customer service skills (preferably in cosmetics & fragrance)
Experience in a senior role with luxury brands in Qatar
Good knowledge of beauty products, skincare, and perfumes
Leadership and team supervision abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to motivate and coach team members
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
Basic knowledge of POS systems and retail operations
Attention to detail, especially in visual merchandising
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and under pressure
