Project Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for various construction projects, utilizing advanced software tools to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial planning.
2. Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress, assess compliance with specifications, and ensure that all work meets quality standards and safety regulations.
3. Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring favorable terms that align with the project budget and timeline while maintaining strong professional relationships.
4. Provide timely and accurate financial reporting, including cash flow forecasts and cost analysis, to support project managers in making informed decisions throughout the project lifecycle.
5. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to review project designs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and suggest alternatives that enhance project feasibility.
6. Manage variations and change orders by evaluating their impact on project costs and timelines, ensuring all changes are documented and approved in accordance with company policies.
7. Assist in the preparation of tender documents and bid evaluations, applying your expertise to select the best contractors and suppliers for each project.
8. Lead project meetings with stakeholders to discuss progress, address challenges, and develop strategic solutions that keep projects on track and within budget.
