Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and bill of quantities (BOQ) for mechanical scope including piping, pipelines, valves, fittings, supports, and associated works.
Monitor and track daily/weekly mechanical construction quantities (piping fabrication, erection, welding, hydro-testing, etc.).
Verify contractor’s monthly progress claims, invoices, and measurement sheets for mechanical works.
Identify and prepare variation orders (VOs) and claims related to mechanical scope.
Maintain detailed records of measured quantities, material consumption, and installed works.
Conduct site measurements and joint measurements with contractors and client representatives.
Assist in preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for mechanical construction activities.
Review and validate material requisitions, delivery notes, and reconciliation statements.
Coordinate with Mechanical, QA/QC, and Planning teams for accurate progress reporting.
Prepare monthly quantity and cost reports for project management and client submission.
Ensure compliance with project contract conditions and KOC/KNPC/KIPIC/JO procedures.
Diploma/Bachelor Degree.
Minimum 10 years of total experience in Quantity Surveying.
At least 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas site construction projects.
Must have previous experience with KOC, KNPC, KIPIC, or JO in piping or pipeline construction projects.
Preferred: Previous experience as KOC/KNPC/KIPIC/JO approved Quantity Surveyor.
Strong knowledge of mechanical works measurement standards (piping, pipeline, static equipment).
Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and quantity surveying software (e.g., Candy, CostX, or similar).
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and contract management skills.
Ability to work full-time at construction sites and perform site measurements in outdoor conditions.
