Purpose:
Supervise & coordinate the day-to-day execution of pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities for Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation systems to ensure safe, timely, and quality handover to Operations
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision & Execution
• Direct and supervise Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation commissioning team during testing & functional checks
• Ensure all activities follow approved procedures & project specifications
Progress & Quality Control
• Monitor progress against the commissioning schedule and report daily status
• Verify test results and ensure punch-list items are properly closed
Coordination & Interface
• Coordinate with construction, vendors, and Operations for system readiness
• Manage interfaces to resolve technical and logistical issues promptly
HSSE & Compliance
• Enforce Permit-to-Work, SIMOPS, and HSSE rules on site
• Ensure full compliance with safety standards during all commissioning activities
Qualifications & Experience:
Diploma in Chemical / Process / Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering
Minimum 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas site construction including 5 years in a similar position
Proven experience with KOC / KNPC / KIPIC /JO projects
