Validation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute validation testing for ball valves (floating/trunnion) and wellhead equipment (casing heads, tubing heads, spools, etc.).
• Develop validation protocols and test procedures per relevant standards such as:
• API 6A PR1 C PR2
• API 6D C ISO 5208 leakage classes
• API 607 fire test
• PSL levels and environmental conditions (e.g., sour service, low temp)
• Coordinate with test labs, ǪA/ǪC, and third-party inspectors to conduct validation tests.
• Analyze test data, perform root cause analysis on failures, and propose corrective actions.
• Create detailed validation reports and test summaries for customer and regulatory submissions.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams for prototype development and improvements.
• Ensure that all tests are traceable and conform to internal quality systems and industry compliance requirements.
• Maintain and calibrate test rigs, fixtures, and instrumentation.
