Senior Planning Engineer - Utilities & Infrastructure

The Senior Planning Engineer will play a critical role in the construction department, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget for the property industry. This position requires expertise in project scheduling, resource allocation, and progress monitoring to support successful project execution.

The Senior Planning Engineer is responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring infrastructure construction projects including roads, utilities, and community development works.



The role ensures timely project delivery through effective schedule control, progress reporting, and coordination with project teams and stakeholders.

Description
Develop and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 for roads, utilities, and community development projects.Prepare baseline, look-ahead, and recovery schedules aligned with contract requirements.Monitor progress, analyze critical paths, and identify schedule risks and delays.Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, S-curves, and dashboards.Coordinate planning inputs with project managers, site teams, subcontractors, and procurement.Perform delay analysis, supports EOT claims, and assess impacts of variations and design changes.Ensure compliance with contract conditions and company planning standards.


Profile

A successful Senior Planning Engineer should have:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.8-15 years of planning experience in roads, utilities, and community development infrastructure projects.Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and infrastructure methodologies.Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and advanced Excel.Experience with FIDIC contracts preferred
