Maison Curtains is seeking a results-driven, design-savvy Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, guiding clients from initial consultation through to the final transformation of their spaces. You will manage the end-to-end sales process for custom curtains, blinds, and motorized window treatments, working closely with homeowners, interior designers, and our installation teams to deliver an exceptional, premium experience.
Key Responsibilities
Consultation & Design Advisory: Conduct expert consultations (both in-showroom and on-site at client villas/apartments) to understand client needs, advise on fabric choices (linens, sheers, velvets), and recommend functional design solutions.
Accurate Estimation: Take precise site measurements and generate detailed, accurate quotations based on fabric yardage, track types, wave headings, and installation complexities.
Pipeline Management: Proactively follow up on leads, manage client relationships, and close sales to meet or exceed monthly revenue targets.
Project Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for the client, coordinating seamlessly with production teams and installation technicians to ensure flawless execution and timeline adherence.
B2B Networking: Build and maintain relationships with local interior designers, architects, and contractors to secure repeat commercial and high-end residential projects.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of proven sales experience, ideally within interior design, luxury home furnishings, textiles, or high-end window treatments.
Technical Aptitude: Strong understanding of fabric characteristics (drape, composition, pooling), window measurement metrics, and hardware systems (including motorized/smart home tracks).
Communication: Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and closing skills. Ability to present premium products with confidence.
Organization: Highly organized with experience managing a CRM and handling multiple client projects simultaneously.
Mobility: Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is highly preferred for on-site client consultations.
What We Offer
Competitive base salary plus an attractive, uncapped commission structure.
A premium portfolio of high-quality fabrics and modern window solutions to sell.
A collaborative team environment with dedicated installation support.
Technical & Design Expertise
Fabric & Textile Knowledge: Deep understanding of fabric behavior, weight, drape, and composition (e.g., linen blends, sheers, blockouts) to advise clients on suitability for different room orientations and light conditions.
Precision Measurement & Estimation: Ability to take flawless window and ceiling-to-floor measurements, accounting for headings (e.g., wave, pinch pleat), pooling, and track deductions to eliminate costly ordering errors.
Hardware & Automation Literacy: Strong familiarity with manual and motorized tracking systems, smart-home integration (e.g., Somfy systems), and architectural constraints (like recessed curtain pockets).
Spatial & Aesthetic Vision: A keen eye for interior design, color coordination, and spatial proportions to help clients select treatments that elevate their overall interior.
Commercial & Sales Skills
High-Value Consultative Selling: Proven ability to build trust, handle luxury clients or high-net-worth individuals, and sell on quality and value rather than just competing on price.
Objection Handling & Closing: Sharp negotiation skills with a track record of turning technical on-site consultations into signed quotes and closed deals.
B2B Relationship Management: Skilled at networking and speaking the language of interior designers, fit-out contractors, and project managers to secure repeat trade business.
Pipeline & CRM Discipline: Highly organized in managing leads, following up on open quotes systematically, and keeping project details updated to ensure smooth handovers to the installation team.
