About the Role:
Southern Interiors LLC is seeking an experienced Quality Controller to play a key role in maintaining and enhancing quality standards within the Furniture Joinery and Fit-Out Division. The position involves inspecting, monitoring, and ensuring that all furniture, fittings, and fitout work comply with the company’s quality standards as well as client specifications.

Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of joinery, carpentry, and fitout work process.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, technical drawings, and specifications
• Understanding of quality standards, inspection procedures, and finishing techniques
Quality & Compliance Knowledge:
• Knowledge of QA/QC procedures and documentation
• Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations
Key Competencies:
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and reporting skills
• Ability to identify defects and suggest corrective actions
• Time management and ability to work under pressure
Educational Qualification:
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Wood Technology, Interior Design, or a related field
• Technical certification in quality control or woodworking (preferred)
Experience:
• 1-2 years of experience in quality control within Joinery, Shop Fixtures Design, & manufacturing, or fit-out projects
• Proven experience in inspecting woodwork, cabinetry, and interior fit-out finishes
Additional Requirements:
• Experience working in UAE/GCC fit-out projects (preferred)
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, reporting tools)
• Auto Cad knowledge is a must for this role.
