We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, managing suppliers, negotiating costs, and ensuring timely procurement of materials required for lighting and electrical projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle procurement of lighting fixtures, electrical materials, accessories, and project requirements.
  • Source suppliers and obtain competitive quotations.
  • Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
  • Prepare supplier comparison reports and procurement evaluations.
  • Coordinate with sales, design, and project teams to understand material requirements.
  • Monitor purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Maintain supplier databases and procurement records.
  • Track material costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Coordinate with logistics teams for shipments and deliveries.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company procedures and project schedules.


Skills

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of UAE experience in procurement.
  • Experience in the lighting, electrical, fit-out, or construction industry is preferred.
  • Strong supplier management and negotiation skills.
  • Good knowledge of procurement procedures and supply chain processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
  • Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
