flowork is seeking a Podcast Studio Operator to manage recording sessions within our in-house podcast studio.


The role combines technical expertise and client interaction, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for clients using the studio.


Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate podcast recording sessions (audio & video)
  • Manage microphones, audio interfaces, mixers, and recording software
  • Handle multi-camera setups, lighting, and framing
  • Monitor audio levels and ensure high-quality sound recording
  • Support clients during sessions and guide them through the recording process
  • Troubleshoot technical issues in real-time
  • Manage file storage, backups, and session exports
  • Perform basic audio/video editing when required
  • Maintain studio equipment and ensure readiness for all bookings


Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in podcast production, audio engineering, or video production
  • Hands-on experience with audio equipment and recording software
  • Familiarity with multi-camera video setups and lighting
  • Strong understanding of sound quality and acoustics
  • Comfortable working in a client-facing environment


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a podcast studio or media production environment
  • Basic video editing skills (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar)
