Role Purpose: Lead all planning, scheduling, progress monitoring and forecasting activities for a large‑scale power generation and water desalination project, ensuring alignment between engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and commercial requirements. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain and update the Integrated Project Schedule (Level 1–4) covering power plant and desalination scopes. Coordinate planning interfaces across civil, mechanical, electrical, I&C, marine works, RO/thermal desalination, water transmission pipelines and utilities. Track project progress, identify variances and prepare mitigation and recovery plans. Manage critical path analysis, delay impact assessments, resource loading and productivity monitoring. Support project management in decision-making through accurate forecasting and scenario planning. Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports, dashboards, S‑curves, manpower histograms and KPIs. Lead planning input for risk management, change control, claims, and contract requirements. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning teams to ensure schedule integration and alignment. Review subcontractor schedules, progress submissions and ensure compliance with contract requirements. Support overall project readiness for commissioning, performance testing, reliability run and handover.
Skills
Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical or related). 10–15+ years of planning experience on power plants, IWPP/IWP, desalination, water transmission or large utility infrastructure. Strong command of Primavera P6, planning standards, EPC methodologies and project controls. Experience in major EPC environments and multidisciplinary interface coordination. Strong analytical, communication and reporting skills.
