Role Summary
The Tony Blair Institute's Geopolitics practice helps political leaders and governments translate systemic shifts in the global order into concrete strategic advantage — from strengthening bilateral and regional engagements to positioning on AI, technology, and economic transformation.
The Manager will be a core member of the Geopolitics practice, supporting a high-impact government advisory engagement based in the UAE, with an expected commitment of c.2 years working closely with a senior executive-level client. The role requires a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional capable of producing rigorous, research-driven insights that directly inform strategic decision-making at the highest levels of government.
This is a role for someone who combines strong research discipline and analytical precision with the ability to operate in a small, high-performing team. The successful candidate will work across a blend of macroeconomic, technological (including AI), and geopolitical issues, delivering outputs that range from high-level strategic advisory to deep-dive analytical work. The emphasis is on intellectual rigor, structured thinking, and the ability to translate complex analysis into clear, decision-ready recommendations.
