The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing daily logistics operations, including shipment tracking, coordination with suppliers and freight forwarders, and ensuring timely documentation and payments. The role requires strong organizational skills to ensure smooth and efficient import/export processes.
Monitor and track shipments via carriers and update status regularly.
Coordinate with freight forwarders for shipment movement and delivery timelines.
Prepare and process forwarder invoices for approval and payment.
Create purchase orders for local freight forwarders.
Handle foreign supplier payments in coordination with the finance team.
Follow up with suppliers for shipping documents and dispatch schedules.
Arrange courier shipments as required.
Maintain records and raise tickets for all import shipments.
Prepare and manage LC (Letter of Credit) documentation.
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
2–4 years of experience in logistics coordination or supply chain operations.
Familiarity with import/export procedures and shipping documentation.
Strong communication and follow-up skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
