The ideal candidate is a disciplined document control professional who can bring structure and accuracy to high-volume project environments, ensuring the right information reaches the right people at the right time. They have a strong grasp of document control workflows across drawings, RFIs, submittals, transmittals, correspondence, and close-out documentation, and they are meticulous about version control, revision history, naming conventions, and approval status. They are confident using EDMS platforms such as Aconex or SharePoint, maintain clean and reliable document registers, and can track actions and overdue items without letting relationships slip. They communicate clearly and professionally with consultants, contractors, and internal teams, and they understand the importance of audit-ready records, confidentiality, and compliance in global project settings. Above all, they are organised, proactive, and calm under pressure, able to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines while keeping governance standards consistent.
