Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale industrial machinery and engineering projects in Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for overall project governance, stakeholder management, commercial performance, and ensuring successful delivery of complex, high-value projects.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of major industrial machinery projects from initiation to completion
  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution strategies
  • Manage multiple project teams including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning functions
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Act as the primary interface with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
  • Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies
  • Manage contract execution, variations, and commercial negotiations in coordination with relevant stakeholders
  • Provide leadership and direction to project managers and site teams
  • Drive performance reporting, project governance, and executive-level updates
  • Ensure quality control and technical compliance across all project phases


Skills

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field); Master’s degree is an advantage
  • Minimum of 12–15 years of experience in project management within industrial machinery, heavy equipment, EPC, or engineering sectors
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale, complex industrial projects
  • Strong experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and large budgets
  • Excellent understanding of project management methodologies (PMP or equivalent certification preferred)
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in contract management and negotiation
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
