Senior Extra Low Voltage Elv Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop advanced ELV systems, including CCTV, access control, and fire alarm systems, ensuring they meet industry standards and client specifications.
2. Conduct thorough site assessments to evaluate existing systems and identify areas for improvement, utilizing your analytical skills to propose effective solutions.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers and architects, to integrate ELV systems seamlessly into overall project designs and plans.
4. Oversee the installation and commissioning of ELV systems, ensuring they adhere to safety regulations and operational requirements.
5. Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of ELV systems, utilizing diagnostic tools to resolve issues promptly and effectively.
6. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, applying this knowledge to enhance our ELV offerings and maintain competitive advantage.
7. Prepare detailed documentation and reports on system designs, installations, and maintenance activities for compliance and future reference.
8. Provide training and support to junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
9. Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide expert recommendations on ELV solutions that align with their business objectives.
10. Conversant with all ICT & Security Systems which includes but not limited to IPTV System, BMS , Fire Alarm System, Public Address and Audio Visual Systems, GRMS , Guest Room Management System, healthcare systems, Parking Management System, Digital Signage System, Telephony Systems, Data Network ,Equipment Rack elevations, Structured Cabling, ISP/OSP construction methodologies, control rooms and Active & Passive Equipment.
11. Review/comment and approve contractor’s ELV Engineering submittals. 
12. Review contractor’s construction documents, such as pre-qualifications, proposals, Method Statements, ITP, ELV materials ,shop drawings & Technical details submissions. 
13. Review and reply to the contractor’s RFI s related to ELV works.
14. Coordinate with the project senior team of other disciplines when and as necessary required, to ensure best level of coordinated work.
15. Carry out regular Evaluate to the site to ensure proper execution of ELV works by the contractor.
