Responsible for overseeing and managing pavement maintenance and urban road asset projects within Riyadh. The role involves supervising the planning, implementation, and supervision of maintenance works on municipal roads, ensuring compliance with standards and client requirements. Focus areas include operations and maintenance projects, asset management for municipal roads, and performance-based contractual frameworks.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise multiple pavement and urban road maintenance projects, ensuring timely, quality, and cost-effective execution.
- Oversee the planning, development, and implementation of maintenance works on municipal roads, collaborating closely with MOMAH officials and stakeholders to align with infrastructure standards.
- Analyze existing road conditions, conduct assessments, and develop strategic maintenance and improvement plans.
- Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and resources efficiently, including liaising with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Ensure all projects comply with safety, quality, and environmental standards while adhering to relevant regulations.
- Monitor project progress, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track.
- Prepare detailed reports, documentation, and technical recommendations for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Provide technical expertise in pavement and asset management, emphasizing best practices within performance-based contract frameworks and operations.
- Facilitate effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to ensure transparency and compliance.
- Stay updated on industry trends, innovations, and regulations, integrating best practices into project delivery and asset management strategies.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in project management within road infrastructure, specifically pavement and urban road asset maintenance.
- Proven experience managing at least three significant pavement and asset maintenance projects.
- Strong knowledge of operations and maintenance projects, preferably within municipal or government settings.
- Experience with municipality roads asset management and performance-based contracts.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and related software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional engineering license or equivalent certification.
- Familiarity with Riyadh’s municipal infrastructure standards and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively with government agencies and contractors.
