Job Purpose The QC Engineer, is responsible for ensuring that all construction activities comply with project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
The role focuses on monitoring site works, conducting inspections, reviewing materials, and maintaining accurate quality documentation to support the successful delivery of residential construction projects.
Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain the project’s Quality Control Plan.
Conduct daily inspections of structural and finishing works to ensure compliance with approved drawings and project specifications.
Review and approve construction drawings, materials, and method statements before execution.
Monitor workmanship quality and verify that all activities meet building codes, construction standards, and client requirements.
Oversee materials testing (e.
g., concrete tests, finishing materials, soil tests) and ensure results meet required standards.
Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and supervisors to resolve any quality-related issues.
Prepare detailed daily and weekly QC reports, including site observations, NCRs, and corrective actions.
Maintain proper documentation of inspections, test results, and material approvals.
Ensure all materials delivered to site comply with approved material submittals.
Assist in internal and external quality audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality processes and site operations.
Job Requirements Nationality: Filipino (Mandatory).
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in residential construction projects (structural and finishing works).
Previous experience in a real estate development company or a construction company .
Strong knowledge of building codes, construction standards, and project specifications.
Proven experience in preparing and implementing Quality Control Plans .
Solid background in materials testing, including concrete and finishing works.
Ability to review and approve construction drawings, materials, and technical documents.
Strong reporting skills with experience preparing daily and weekly QC reports.
Proficiency in MS Office ; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
