MAIN PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To develop, optimize, and execute maintenance schedules while providing technical expertise and leadership to ensure equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and compliance in a gasification and power production facility.
JOB OBJECTIVES
1. Maintenance Planning and Strategy: To develop and refine detailed maintenance plans, including preventive, corrective, and predictive activities, for critical equipment and systems.
2. Resource Optimization: To optimize resource allocation, balancing workload, labor, materials, and equipment to meet maintenance priorities effectively.
3. Cross-Functional Coordination: To lead coordination efforts between maintenance, operations, engineering, and external contractors to execute plans seamlessly.
4. Regulatory and Safety Compliance: To ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in all maintenance activities.
5. Performance Analysis and Continuous Improvement: To analyze maintenance performance metrics, such as equipment reliability and mean-time between failures, to drive continuous improvement.
6. Technical Support and Troubleshooting: To provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise for complex maintenance tasks and system failures.
7. Inventory and Supply Chain Management: To manage inventory and procurement processes to ensure availability of critical spare parts and tools.
8. Reporting and Strategic Decision Support: To prepare comprehensive reports and present recommendations to management to support strategic maintenance decisions.
Formal Qualifications/Education
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field - Essential
Job Related Work Experience
6-12 Years of Work experience in maintenance planning and scheduling in an industrial or manufacturing environment - Essential
Experience in gasification or power systems is desirable - Preferred
