•Ensure that Rawabi Vallianz vessels are properly manned as per the client requirements and regulatory requirements.

• Oversee the crew recruitment process and ensure the same is being carried out in a timely and cost-effective manner.

• Ensure that the recruited crew possess the required experience, certifications, medical clearance and ensure the proper application of STCW convention onboard vessels.

• Review the vessel crew rotational plan submitted by subordinates and provide recommendations concerning the same in order to enhance and optimize the plan.

• Ensure crew transfers are being carried out in an optimal manner and address any incidents that have been escalated by subordinates concerning the same.

• Ensure the validity of all certification required on board the vessels as per ISM, ISPS and MLC requirements.

• Manage the process of evaluating, auditing and recommending crew agencies and crew training centers.

• Ensure crew appraisals are completed in a fair and accurate manner and that the same is being analyzed thoroughly by subordinates.

• Manage the crew payroll process and address any issues escalated by subordinates concerning incorrect entries to the payroll journal or late salary transfers.

• Perform ad-hoc and other duties related to the job as assigned by the Direct Manager.
