📌 Role Objective

Ensure the maximum uptime and safety of all amusement assets, including mechanical rides, kiddy rides, arcade games, and soft play areas. This role requires a "hands-on" technical professional capable of performing both preventive maintenance and emergency repairs in a fast-paced environment.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

  • Daily Safety Inspections: Conduct pre-opening checks on all major rides (mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic) to ensure 100% passenger safety.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Execute weekly and monthly maintenance schedules for motor drives, gearboxes, and electrical circuits.
  • Arcade & VR Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair electronic faults in arcade machines, redemption games, and Virtual Reality (VR) equipment (PCB repair, screen calibration, coin-mech fixes).
  • Emergency Repairs: Provide rapid response to "Ride Down" situations during peak mall hours to minimize downtime.
  • Compliance: Maintain accurate logs of all repairs and inspections in accordance with Qatar Civil Defense and international safety standards (ASTM/TUV).
  • Soft Play Safety: Inspect trampoline areas and soft play structures for wear and tear, ensuring all padding and netting are secure.

✅ Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: ITI, Diploma, or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the amusement park or leisure industry (specifically with indoor rides and arcades).
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers).
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints.
  • Proficiency in soldering and repairing electronic components (PCBs).
  • Availability: Must be currently in Qatar with a transferable Visa/NOC.
  • Shift Work: Must be willing to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays (peak mall times).
