Job description

JOB PURPOSE:

To prepare financial statements and regulatory reports, to ensure that financial data is available to shareholders, investors and company in order to support decision making processes as well as to ensure adherence to all relevant internal and statutory requirements.

 

Description

Financial Statements

Prepare periodical financial statements with variances analysis for the different functions within company and consolidate them in a timely and accurate manner.

Prepare and report the monthly FPA and Quarterly Reports to company as per QD defined processes

Review financial data collected through the system and/ or functions and follow-up on any delays and issues to ensure timeliness and adherence to all internal and regulatory requirements.

Prepare financial statement disclosures in a timely and accurate manner in compliance with statutory requirements and company’s policies and procedures to clarify and validate of reported financial information.

Prepare and report quarterly Financial data to Ministry of Finance.

Prepare and report monthly income & expenditure forecasts and explanation of forecast versus budget for submission to management and shareholders.

Analyze and reportcurrent and past trends in revenues, expenses, and capital expenditures.

Provide in-depth analysis report related to departmental profitability, budget variance and operational efficiency in a timely manner for facilitating management decisions.

Prepare cash flow projections, anticipating liquidity problems and suggesting preventive measures.

Reconciliation

Reconcile and analyze company data with final figures in financial and regulatory reports including current and past trends in revenues, expenses, and capital expenditures so that the company remains aware of its financial position on an ongoing basis and statutory reports can be produced within internal and legislative time limits.

 

 

Audit

Coordinate with internal and external auditors and support in preparing auditing reports in alignment with requirements to ensure audit objectives are met and statutory accounts are completed.

Liaise and provide auditors with relevant financial information and finalize financial statements to ensure timely submission and completion of auditing requirements.

Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures

Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

Continuous Improvement

Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.

Leverage ERP systems to streamline and automate financial reporting, enhancing data accuracy, reducing manual effort, and supporting real-time decision-making

Reporting

Contribute to all monthly and routine reporting activities pertaining to various general ledger issues to ensure that the concerned internal parties are provided with all needed information in an accurate and timely fashion.

Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate statements and reports to meet department requirements, policies, and quality standards.

Coordinate with Finance & Accounting entities to prepare regulatory reports in a timely and accurate manner so that all regulatory requirements are met, and information is available to shareholders, investors and company for decision making.

Remain abreast with the latest IFRS and other laws and regulations in order to ensure that work output is in conformity with accepted practices.
