Function:
As a Host/Hostess, you present a positive first impression of the restaurant’s friendliness, excellent service and high standards to all our guests. It is imperative that as a host/hostess you need to be presentable, elegant and professional
Primary Duties & responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Greet incoming and departing guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact; escort them to their seats; present menu
• Inform guest of current promotion and who will be serving them to ensure a smooth handoff to the service staff
• Tend to special guest needs and requests
• Observant to guests' needs throughout dining experience to ensure they receive high quality service
• Maintain guest relations by ensuring guests are comfortable all the way through to the farewell stage
• Answer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate service
• Manage the flow of Guests, provide accurate wait times to waiting list guest
• Assist service staff by setting, clearing tables and manage seating
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Maintain a clean and orderly reception area and manages stationary and menus
• Any other tasks as assigned by the manager

• Ability to take and follow instructions both written and verbal
• Basic assessment and math skills

Qualifications:
• Minimum high school education required; higher degree preferable
• Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not necessary
• Read, write, and speak English fluently
• Strong computer knowledge, well versed in windows, internet explorer and word
• Knowledge of restaurant reservation systems and MICROS would be an advantage
