Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated, knowledgeable, and dynamic Personal Trainer to join our growing team of fitness professionals. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping individuals improve their physical health and overall well-being through personalized training programs. This role requires a results-driven trainer who can inspire, educate, and empower clients of all fitness levels, while maintaining a professional and client-centric approach.
The Personal Trainer will play a critical role in promoting health, fitness, and active living within the facility and will be responsible for delivering exceptional one-on-one training, small group sessions, and contributing to a positive, high-energy gym environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Coaching & Program Development
- Conduct comprehensive fitness assessments and consultations for new clients
- Design and implement individualized training programs based on client goals, fitness levels, and health conditions
- Provide safe, effective, and progressive workouts that focus on strength, endurance, flexibility, mobility, and functionality
- Deliver high-quality one-on-one and small group training sessions
- Monitor client progress, adjust programs accordingly, and provide consistent feedback and encouragement
Education & Client Engagement
- Educate clients on proper form, technique, and the importance of recovery and nutrition
- Offer advice on general health, wellness, injury prevention, and lifestyle improvement
- Maintain high levels of client motivation and accountability
- Build strong, lasting relationships with clients based on trust, results, and service excellence
Operational & Administrative
- Maintain accurate client records, including assessments, workouts, and progress tracking
- Ensure gym floor safety by following all health and safety guidelines
- Assist in the upkeep of training areas and equipment
- Contribute to marketing efforts by participating in content creation, social media, or wellness campaigns if needed
- Support business growth by promoting personal training services and engaging with gym members.
Qualifications & Certifications:
- Certified Personal Trainer from a recognized body (e.g., NASM, ACE, ISSA, ACSM, NSCA, REPs Level 3 or equivalent)
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Science, or related field (preferred but not required)
- Minimum 1–3 years of personal training experience in a fitness facility or wellness environment
- Proven track record of client retention, results delivery, and customer satisfaction.
