Job description

  • You will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to establish document control procedures, including version control, naming conventions, and file storage protocols.
  • Collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders, you will establish and enforce document control procedures, encompassing version control, naming conventions, and file storage protocols.
  • In addition to your core responsibilities, you may be called upon to create routine reports, keep thorough document logs, and support the transition to electronic document management systems, thereby improving overall efficiency and document security.
  • You will be tasked with the precise management and organization of project documents in your capacity as a Document Controller, ensuring they are accurate, current, and readily available to the project team.
  • The central responsibility of a Document Controller is to maintain and organize project-related documents, ensuring their precision, currency, and accessibility for relevant team members.
  • Document Controllers contribute significantly to the facilitation of seamless communication and data sharing within project teams, in addition to their role in ensuring document compliance with regulatory and quality assurance requirements.

Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring all documents are correctly labeled, filed, and easily retrievable when needed.
  • Holds experience in conducting routine audits and quality checks to validate document integrity, completeness, and resolution of discrepancies.
  • Skilled at developing and upholding comprehensive document control procedures and guidelines to streamline workflows and enhance document management efficiency.
  • Demonstrates expertise in conducting frequent audits and quality examinations to verify document integrity, completeness, and resolution of discrepancies.
  • Competent in the use of document management software and systems, enabling the efficient organization, categorization, and maintenance of electronic and physical records.
