Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer to support a long-term infrastructure project in Oman. The role involves providing consultancy-based process engineering support across the design and construction phases, ensuring technical excellence, compliance with standards, and successful project delivery.

The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to develop, review, and manage process engineering deliverables in line with project requirements and international best practices.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support process engineering activities during design and construction stages
  • Prepare, review, and approve process deliverables including PFDs, P&IDs, calculations, and specifications
  • Ensure compliance with client requirements, project specifications, and international standards
  • Coordinate with civil, mechanical, electrical, and construction teams
  • Review contractor and vendor submissions for process engineering compliance
  • Participate in design reviews, HAZID / HAZOP studies, and technical workshops
  • Provide technical support during construction, commissioning, and handover phases
  • Support infrastructure-related process systems from concept through execution


Skills

  • Strong expertise in process engineering for infrastructure projects
  • Proven consultancy experience in design and construction phases
  • Ability to prepare and review PFDs, P&IDs, process calculations, and specifications
  • Solid knowledge of international engineering codes and standards
  • Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
