Job description

The Revenue Manager is responsible for maximizing hotel revenue and profitability for Crowne Plaza Muscat OCEC through strategic pricing, inventory control, and demand forecasting. This role analyzes market trends, competitor positioning, and customer behavior to develop and implement effective revenue strategies across all segments, including rooms, meetings, and events.


YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:


  • Develop and implement revenue management strategies to optimize occupancy, ADR (Average Daily Rate), and RevPAR (Revenue per Available Room).
  • Analyze historical data, market trends, and competitor performance to forecast demand and adjust pricing strategies accordingly.
  • Manage all distribution channels, ensuring rate parity and optimal inventory allocation (OTA, GDS, direct channels, etc.).
  • Conduct regular revenue meetings with sales, marketing, and front office teams to align on strategies and performance.
  • Monitor competitor pricing and positioning to maintain a competitive advantage in the Muscat market.
  • Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing team to drive group and corporate business while maximizing profitability.
  • Oversee yield management systems and ensure accurate data input and reporting.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports and present insights to senior management.
  • Identify new revenue opportunities, including packages, promotions, and upselling strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards and corporate revenue guidelines.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in revenue management or a similar analytical role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of revenue management systems, PMS, CRS, and channel managers.
  • Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data interpretation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make data-driven decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of the Muscat hospitality market is an advantage.
