The company has established a state-of-the-art salt production facility to serve its FMCG client base, leveraging existing supply chain relationships to create a strong, captive B2B market.
With the salt business positioned for significant expansion across regional and international markets, the organization is focused on building strong operational leadership to drive performance, efficiency, and scale.
Role Overview
This is a senior plant leadership role responsible for setting up, leading, and scaling a salt production facility. Reporting directly to the Business Director, you will oversee end-to-end plant operations, ensuring delivery of production targets, quality standards, and cost efficiency, while playing a key role in plant commissioning and future expansion.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end plant operations from raw material intake to finished goods dispatch
• Deliver production, quality, and cost targets with full operational accountability
• Implement QA/QC systems aligned with international and FMCG client standards
• Monitor costs, identify inefficiencies, and drive corrective actions
• Support plant setup, commissioning, and capacity expansion initiatives
• Manage capital projects, vendors, and equipment installation
• Ensure regulatory compliance and manage external audits
• Build and lead high-performing teams across operations and support functions
• Act as the key interface for multinational clients on audits and service delivery
• Report on plant performance, financials, and expansion progress to leadership
Your Profile
• 15+ years in industrial or process manufacturing (salt, chemicals, minerals, or food ingredients preferred)
• Proven experience leading large-scale plant operations and high-volume production
• Strong exposure to plant setup, commissioning, or expansion projects
• Solid understanding of industrial processing equipment and systems
• Experience working with multinational FMCG clients under strict quality standards (ISO, HACCP, etc.)
• Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related technical field
• Strong leadership and team-building capability in demanding environments
